Dr. Mike Johnston

Veterinarian/ Owner

Dr. Mike Johnston is a 1986 graduate of Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. He has been in mixed animal practice since that time and is a member of the AVMA, IVMA and the American Association of Equine Practitioners. He and his wife Jennifer live in Franklin County with their collection of dogs and cats. Both of their children are Purdue graduates. Bridget works at the Children’s Museum in Indianapolis and Michael is currently attending medical school at Indiana University in Indianapolis. Their spare time activities includes skiing, visiting parks or attending Bengals games.

Dr. Lisa Rudnick

Veterinarian

Hello, I am Dr. Lisa Rudnick. I am a 2002 graduate of Purdue University Veterinary School. I practiced at a mixed animal veterinary practice in Northwest Ohio for 6 years and then began at Grove Veterinary Clinic in 2009 when my family and I decided to relocate back to my home town of Liberty. My husband Jason and I have two children, David and Samuel. Our children are now both in high school and they both enjoy 4-H and all aspects of dealing with the family farm. We have four dogs- Mater, Norman, Dale and Bella- three cats- Doug, Casper and Steve. We also raise sheep and show pigs for 4-H. I look forward to meeting you and your pet at Grove Veterinary Clinic!

Dr. McKenna Marshall

Veterinarian

Dr. McKenna Marshall has been with Grove Veterinary Clinic since June 2021 after graduating from Purdue University’s Veterinary School. She enjoys her time as a mixed animal veterinarian working with large and small animals alike. She has a special interest in equine dentistry and small animal internal medicine. In her spare time, she spends time with family and friends. She is a member of Cobblestone Community Church in Oxford, Ohio. She has three dogs: Oscar (a Dachshund), Larry (a Labrador Retriever), and Louie (a German Shepherd).

Kaitlyn Johnson

Vet Assistant

Kaitlyn is a veterinary assistant and has been with the clinic since 2016. She grew up in West College Corner, IN. She is a 2014 graduate from Union County High School. Kaitlyn was a 10 year member of the Union County 4H where she showed horses. She went to college at the Vet Tech Institute in Indianapolis and graduated from there in December 2016.

She has always had a strong passion for animals of all sizes. She really enjoys impacting the lives of all animals, sick and healthy.

She knew she was in the right profession when she was able to put her passion to work.

Her family consists of her parents, Shawn and Laura, and her significant other Matt. She and Matt raise Boer goats and miniature donkeys together. She has a strong passion for large animals. She also has many other animals such as dogs, cats, an open horse, chickens and pigs!

When she’s not at work, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, going to open shows and outdoor activities.

Morgan Gober

Vet Assistant

Morgan is a veterinary assistant and has been with the clinic since 2017. She was raised in Harrison, OH and she went to Brown Mackie for their Veterinary program. She came to Grove Veterinary Clinic on my externship ship and immediately fell in love. She’s been here ever since!

She has always loved taking care of animals, so being able to help animals everyday is a blessing. She loves seeing the team’s hard work really pay off and seeing animals prosper.

She knew that she was in the right industry when she saw the care and compassion that the team gives to animals and how it impacts their lives.

Her family consists of her parents, Shawn and Denise, brothers Derik and Conner, and her husband Nathan. She and Nathan have their own australian shepherd named Merle who is like a child to them.

In her free time she loves to hike, fish, and play with her nephews Silas and Cole.

Receptionist

Marlyne is a receptionist and has been with the clinic since 2001. She has a German Shepherd named Lacey, a Beagle named Heidi, a Border Collie named Teddy and 2 cats named Smokey and Fatty. She enjoys traveling the world and spending time with family.
